An interesting gold memento mori portrait miniature brooch pendant, possibly 17th century, depicting King Charles I in armour wearing a medal and with a skull to his side, with twisted gold wirework to the edge, set with an opal verso, loop attached, frame and loop unmarked but test as 18ct gold, and later base metal hinged pin fastening, 22 by 18mm excluding loop, 3.9g.

A Christopher Lawrence limited edition silver gilt commemorative 'surprise' ornament, 'The Wedding Orb', limited edition 16/100, commemorating the union between Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer, in textured silver and silver gilt, with an orb decorated to each hemisphere with the Royal Coat of Arms, surmounted by the cross of St Paul's and mounted on a pedestal foot and a cube of green Italian marble, the interior an enamel medallion with the Prince of Wales Feathers to one side and an insignia representing Diana's family to the other, surrounded by a wreath of Tudor roses and leaves, Christopher Lawrence, London 1981, 28cm high.

A George VI 1937 proof gold four coin specimen set, Royal Mint issue, comprising five pounds, two pounds (double sovereign), sovereign, and half sovereign, total weight 67.8g, in original red morocco leather case with gilt tooled GVIR royal cypher and 'Specimen Coins 1937' to the hinged cover, fitted internally with cream velvet, white silk above with gilt Royal Mint crest, 12.5 by 9.5 by 2cm.
Notes: proof quality but various light surface scratches evident as well as slight toning visible on all coins.
