A Breitling Chronometer Premier stainless steel gentleman's automatic wristwatch, model ABO118, serial number 325118, silvered 'panda' dial with black subsidiary chronograph dials, centre seconds, date aperture at 6 o'clock, on a black faux crocodile leather strap, 42mm case, with boxes and papers. Notes: in working condition, winds and hands set well, keeps time across 1hr test, however Batemans cannot guarantee its continued operation.

A George VI 1937 proof gold four coin specimen set, Royal Mint issue, comprising five pounds, two pounds (double sovereign), sovereign, and half sovereign, total weight 67.8g, in original red morocco leather case with gilt tooled GVIR royal cypher and 'Specimen Coins 1937' to the hinged cover, fitted internally with cream velvet, white silk above with gilt Royal Mint crest, 12.5 by 9.5 by 2cm. Notes: proof quality with only light surface scratches evident as well as slight toning visible on all coins.

Edward, Duke of Windsor (1894-1972) and Wallis, Duchess of Windsor (1895-1986) autographed photograph portrait by Dorothy Wilding, signed by both sitters and dated '1956', also signed by the photographer and bearing a studio label verso, numbered '3259 A', image size 23 by 17.5cm, mounted within a silver Cartier frame with the late Duke's crest, 27.5 by 22.7cm overall. Provenance: Privately owned, Clipsham House, Lincolnshire, believed to have been a gift to Leonora Corbett, an English actress, who was also the mistress of Egmont van Zuylen van Nyevelt (of the Rothschild family). Corbett was socialised with a range of celebrities from George Bernard Shaw Vivien Leigh. The photograph was possibly given to Corbett in Paris or New York. Corbett owned an apartment at the Waldorf Astoria (she later rented it to Marilyn Monroe).

A Victorian photographic album of Falkingham Kesteven County prison inmates, dating from 1870, titled to top of page 'A photographic likeness of each prisoner as required under the Habitual Criminals Act copy of which is forwarded to the Registrar, seven days previous to being discharged.', containing over 600 portraits, each approximately 5 by 9cm, of elderly and young men and women, as well as children, some duplicates or possible repeat offenders, in green cloth folio with leather edges. Notes: at least 62 photographs are without names or details of offences, some of these are duplicates.
