A George VI 1937 proof gold four coin specimen set, Royal Mint issue, comprising five pounds, two pounds (double sovereign), sovereign, and half sovereign, total weight 67.8g, in original red morocco leather case with gilt tooled GVIR royal cypher and 'Specimen Coins 1937' to the hinged cover, fitted internally with cream velvet, white silk above with gilt Royal Mint crest, 12.5 by 9.5 by 2cm.
Notes: proof quality with only light surface scratches evident as well as slight toning visible on all coins.
