Sydney Nolan (Australian, 1917-1992): Four pen on paper sketches, two with titles 'Hector being dragged by Achilles 22. Sept 56' initialled 'N', with another image of bound feet possibly on the same theme without annotations, a desert scene annotated verso 'Saguaro Cactus Forest... Cynthia xx.. Arizona. Tuscon [sic], USA 2nd March. 57' initialled 'N', together with two outstretched hands with a city in the distance, unsigned, all unmounted and unframed, 25.5 by 30.5cm. (4)
Provenance: via the niece of Ann Banks, Banks rented a studio to Nolan during the 1950s.
