An early to mid 18th century oak cased longcase clock, with birdcage 30 hour posted frame movement chiming on a bell, brass dial engraved with foliate scrolling decoration, applied spandrels, silvered chapter ring signed 'Smorthwait Colchester', black Roman numerals and minute track, single blued steel hand, with key, weight and pendulum, 46 by 24 by 201cm high.
