(British, 1782-1875): a portrait of Admiral Sir Edward Campbell Rich Owen (1771-1849), with pencil inscription 'Admiral' lower left on the margin, and pencil signature lower left obscured by frame, with legend and history to the back of the frame, engraved by G.T. Payne, published by the artist in 1849, 50 by 35cm, framed size 82 by 60cm. Provenance: The Estate of Mr Joseph B. Hay, son of Major-General Arthur K. Hay DSO OBE - 100 years of a military family.
