A late 19th century Armand Marseille bisque shoulder head doll, stamped '37.0 A.M. 4/0 DEP Made in Germany', with painted facial features, open/close eyes, jointed stuffed fabric body and legs, wooden painted arms, in a pink dress and embroidered white pinafore, with applied cross stitch panel 'Ann Ryecroft 1827', a/f her shoes are disintegrating with various loss of the stuffing in the feet, the body and limbs are still reasonable however, head 7cm high, torso 16cm high, 39cm high overall.
