An American Aesthetic silver plated hot water jug or pitcher, by Reed and Barton, circa 1870, of large proportions and tapering form, with a ceramic lined interior and screw down top rim, the body cast, engraved and bright cut with birds and foliage, cast vine leaf handle and cast feathers finial, impressed marks, 18.5 by 35cm high.
