Jean Shepeard (British 1904-1989): a charcoal portrait of actor Leslie Howard (1893-1943) signed with a monogram, 29 by 22.5cm, mounted, 50 by 40cm together with two other signed, unmounted charcoal portraits, one purported to be of Muriel Aked (1883-1955), as identified by Rachel Redgrave, 22 by 17.5cm, the other a possible portrait of Michael Gough (1916-2011), 28 by 21cm. (3)
Provenance- from Doreen Kern Collection (Artist and Sculptor 1931-2021) niece of Jean Shepeard.
