A miniature artillery field gun, early 20th century, consisting of a patinated bronze barrel, with removable screw threaded breech, wooden wheeled carriage with metal bound twelve-spoked cart wheels, bucket and ramming pole accessories, the rear of the barrel with screw adjustment for elevation, 14mm caliber, barrel 38cm, overall 28.5 by 65 by 25cm high. Provenance: The Estate of Mr Joseph B. Hay, son of Major-General Arthur K. Hay DSO OBE - 100 years of a military family.
