A pair of Meissen porcelain figures, early 19th century, modelled as fruit sellers, model numbers 65667, after the originals modelled by Frederich Elias Meyer, the first depicting an Asian woman selling grapes, the second an Asian man holding a flask of wine and standing beside a basket of lemons, each wearing white coats decorated with flowers, blue belts, and yellow trousers / skirt, on oval bases with applied flowers, both with underglaze blue crossed swords mark, the grape seller incised '65667' and impressed '137X', 12.5cm high, the lemon seller incised '65667' and '149', 12.5cm high.
