A pair of WMF Jugendstil silver plated on brass Arts & Crafts candlesticks, circa 1915, with hemispherical drip trays on slender tapering square section ball knopped columns, on a hemispherical base with wide foot rim, all set with decorative cabochon beads, marked to bases 'WMF G 73', each 10.5 by 27cm. (2)
Note: an example of a single candlestick in this design is in the collection of the Kirkland Museum of Decorative Arts in Denver, CO, USA.
