A French early 20th century roll top writing bureau, the body inlaid overall with geometric parquetry, caddy top over the barrel roll top with floral cast brass handles, opening to reveal a fitted interior with tooled black leather slide, three frieze drawers, raised on tapering square section legs with brass caps, made by Albert Labens between 1918 and 1920 at Roubaix, France, 71 by 45 by 95cm high.
