A late 18th century movement for a long case clock, by William Warren, Royston, brass square dial with silvered chapter ring, black Roman numerals, minute band and Arabic five-minute numerals to outer edge, foliate engraved centre surrounding the maker’s name, applied brass spandrels with angels supporting crowns, 30 hour movement chiming on a bell, the movement boxed in a white painted surround, with single weight and pendulum, without wall bracket.
