An Isis Pottery custom made octagonal dish, by Deborah Sears, dated 2011, tin glazed and hand painted with a view of the West front of Burghley House, a horse and rider from the Burghley Horse Trials in the foreground, all framed by trees, signed to base, 34.3cm, together with an extensively annotated and signed copy of 'Burghley, The Horses, The House and the People', limited to 1000 copies, which was owned by the Late Harry Coleman or 'Flash Arry' as he was known, who had a very long standing association with the Burghley Horse Trials, having work there since 1963 in various roles, latterly Caravan Steward in the Stables from 1978 until his retirement in 2011 when he was presented with the octagonal dish described above. Harry was a good amateur photographer and the book contains many of his own photographs of the Horse Trials and also has autographs of and personal messages from various winners and personalities associated with Burghley, including Lady Victoria Leatham, Mark Phillips, Richard Meade, William Fox Pitt, Andrew Nicholson, Bruce Davidson, and Mark Todd.
