A silver hunter pocket watch, the plain case engraved with shield cartouche bearing the initials FF, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, blued steel hands and subsidiary seconds dial, back of case marked London 1864, Alford Thickbroom, with attached silver watch chain and fob, the latter with applied rose gold shield cartouche engraved FF, the back engraved with the image of a ship, all believed to have possibly once belonged to Frederick Fogarty Fegen, 1855 - 1911, Vice Admiral in the Royal Navy, the ship engraved to fob appearing to depict the first ship he captained, H.M.S. Leander, 4.4toz total.
