A 19th century South East Asian tortoiseshell and white metal mounted box, the hinged lid with central floral and foliate embossed applied panel, and similarly decorated corners, secured on a fine chain when open, with twin handles and four bun feet, 19.5 by 13.5 by 8.5cm high.

There are some chips to the internal top corners of tortoiseshell front panel, there are also some areas of repair to the metal work as well as wear throughout.
