A Chinese Export four piece silver tea service including tray, circa 1900, each of lobed melon form with handles and tea pot spout imitating bamboo, raised on three bamboo style feet, decorated in relief with eight panels alternately depicting prunus and bamboo, the tray engraved centrally with prunus blossom and bamboo, a border decorated in relief and a bamboo rim, makers mark to base 'HC' for Hung Chong, comprising teapot with hinged lid and ivory insulators to the handle, a/f hinge pin missing and finial loose as missing nut, 24.5 by 14 by 14cm high, twin handled lidded sugar bowl, 15.5 by 10.5 by 11.5cm high, milk jug, 13 by 9 by 9cm high, tray 38 by 4.5cm, total weight 62.12toz. (4)
