A George V Irish silver pedestal basket dish, with undulating rim and bead border, plain hinged handle above, the pierced and chased body decorated with swags tied by tasseled ropes against a scrolling openwork ground, clasped by stiff leaves below, the circular foot also pierced and with a gadrooned rim, Wakely & Wheeler, Dublin 1915, with shaped blue glass liner, 9 by 10.5 by 16.5cm high, 12cm with handle lowered, 5.39toz.
