A group of Chinese or South East Asian white metal book binding covers, each of rectangular form with pierced holes to the rims for securing to the fabric, decorated in pressed relief with stylised peacocks and flowering branches, including a pair with stiff leaf border, each 19 by 7cm, and a differently sized matched pair with Greek key border, 20.5 by 7cm and 19.5 by 6cm, and four smaller plates, three with lobster in a central panel reserve and one with fish, each 7.3 by 4.1cm, combined weight 6.15toz.
