An early 20th century German regimental porcelain stein, the pewter lid cast with a cannon, two soldiers and an eagle finial, Wurttemburg crest thumb lift, with painted decoration and the legend 'Reservist Schater, Kanonendonner ist unser Gruk', translated as 'the canons thunder is our greeting', with '4. Batt. 2. Nass. Feld Art.Regt. No. 27, Oranien, Wiesbaden, 1903-1905' to the border under, a/f one soldier detached but present, 28cm, together with a late 19th century German stoneware stein, the body relief cast and decorated in blue, black and grey, with impressed marks, 18cm.
