An ancient Roman hammered gold aureus coin, Tiberius (AD 14-37), mint of Lugdunum, the obverse inscribed 'TI CAESAR DIVI AVG F AVGVSTVS' surrounding Emperor Tiberius laureate head facing right, the reverse inscribed 'PONTIF MAXIM' surrounding a female figure (possibly Livia) seated facing right, holding a sceptre and a branch, 7.9g, 1.5mm to 2.5mm thick, diameter varying from 19.1mm to 18.1mm.
