A Victorian General Officers sword, with brass gothic guard with crossed sword and baton surrounded by laurel wreath surmounted by crown with wired bound shagreen grip, fullered blade etched to both sides with the crossed sword and baton, below crown insignia to one side, the other with VR for Victoria Rex and makers name Gobby & Co, Leicester St, Regent St, London, blade length 82cm, with brass scabbard and gold silk rope tassel knotted, 98cm overall.
