A John Pinches commemorative set of fifty silver ingots, '1000 Years of British Monarchy', 'Sterling Silver Mint Edition', issued 1973, each '1000 grain' ingot struck with a 'magnificent cameo portrait of the ruler surrounded by a scene of a significant event particularly associated with that time', from Edgar in 973 to Elizabeth II in 1973, each ingot 45 by 23 by 6.7mm, 66.0g, each ingot hallmarked, all in fitted wooden presentation box, 61.5 by 23.7 by 8cm high, together with an additional Edward IV (1461-1483) ingot, in plastic case, total silver weight 3366g.
