An 18ct gold cased pocket watch, late 18th century, by James Alling, Whitechapel, the 38mm dial with black painted Roman numerals, blued steel hands, and engraved floral decoration, movement no 7027, with chain drive, case marked Sheffield 1787, stamped 82894, total weight 63.4g, in original fitted velvet lined leather case, 10 by 12 by 2.5cm.
