A pair of photograph albums detailing the life of Major Dennis George Jocelyn Ryan DSO*, 1/6th Gurkha Rifles, Indian Army (1885-1927), the first album dealing with his time at Stonyhurst, Sandhurst and early years of army life up to 1907, the second album with his Great War service in Egypt, Gallipoli, Mesopotamia and Northern Persia, together with loose Eastern Command staff photographs and a sketch of the attack on Shabana Kala Massif on the 31/8/1919.
