A rare and high quality Victorian folding card table with fire screen, circa 1870, rosewood with profuse floral and scrolling foliate inlay, the table folding upright when closed with brass turned knobs to hold in place, stamped 'J. Newland', and then can be used as fire screen with the panel below, flanked by two fluted columns with cast brass capitals, raised on cabriole feet with scroll foliate ends and brass castors, 73 by 48 by 77cm high (111cm high when folded).
