An unusual George III gilt brass pair cased pocket watch with named dial, key wind, with the name John Hayward to the dial replacing the numerals, centred by a painted scene of a carriage drawn by six horses, a lady being helped down its steps, blued steel hands, verge fusee fully engraved movement signed 'Thos. Garner, London, No 3196', the inner case stamped with a turtle (?) mark, dial 35mm, case 47.7mm, 96.5g.
Notes: in working condition, winds and hands set well, keeps time across 1hr test, however Batemans cannot guarantee continued operation.
