A pair Porzellan Manufaktur Frankenthal porcelain figure groups, mid 20th century, each modelled as a Nymphenburg 'Frankenthal Hunt' horseman, one with French horn, in yellow and blue coats , black riding boots, and white steeds, on oval bocage mounded base with gilt-scrolled rims, blue painted 'Carl Theodor' 1962 Frankenthal factory mark, impressed Nymphenburg shield mark, impressed '1063 9' and '1067A 9', each 12.5 by 8 by 17cm high. (2)

More Information

Both of the figurines have some restoration: the reins on both horses and particularly near the horses' mouths, as well as to the horse tail and the french horn on the same figurine. There is also a possible break to one hand of the rider without the horn.
