A Japanese kiseru (pipe) and tobacco pouch, Meiji period, late 19th century, the pipe with white metal mounts cast with leaves and flowers, apparently unsigned, in a storage/carry case carved from an antler, with attached leather tobacco pouch, blue string and pierced bead, the clasp cast with a basket of flowers, pipe 19cm long, antler case 20.5cm long, pouch 14 by 9cm. Provenance: The Estate of Mr Joseph B. Hay, son of Major-General Arthur K. Hay DSO OBE - 100 years of a military family.
