A pair of Sevres style table lamps, 19th century, each porcelain base decorated with an oval reserve depicting two Asiatic pheasants amongst a low tree, within a gilt border, against a bleu celeste ground, fitted with gilt metal bulb holders, each 14 by 42cm high, with modern cream shades. (4)
Provenance: The vendor is the Great Great Grandchild of Thomas Hope, the celebrated Regency art collector and interior designer, and it is thought that these may have been inherited by descent from him although there is no firm proof.
