A Danish terracotta sculpture, Hans Gyde-Petersen (Danish, 1862-1943) for P. Ipsen, Copenhagen, 'Adam og Eva', modelled as Adam and Eve seated on a rock with their arms around one another, naturalist base, impressed signature to back of rocks 'Gyde Petersen 1897', impressed 'Stenders Porlagi Copyright' and 'P. Ipsen Kjobenhavn' to the integral rectangular base, 29.5 by 19.5 by 30cm high.
