An early 19th century Meissen porcelain figurine, modelled as a fisherwoman 'Fischerin', after the model by Johann Joachim Kändler, standing barefooted in a white dress, blue waistcoat and yellow pinny, holding a large fish (missing), with a basket of fish below, on a naturalistic grass base with encrusted flowers, underglaze blue crossed swords mark and incised numerals, 23cm high.
Provenance: Private Deceased Estate, purchased Collins & Clark, 81 Regent Street, London, 17-8-1976 for £85.

Missing the fish, the thumbs and some fingers of her hands, her right big toe, some petals and leaves to the base, and a fishtail from the basket. Some wear to paintwork and small chips but otherwise no other major issues.
