A late 19th century Hanau silver novelty box, in the form of a violin, with embossed decoration of musicians in a garden, stamped marks for Karl Kurz Silberwarenfabrik, Kesselstadt, and import marks for Samuel Boyce (or Boaz) Landeck, Sheffield 1901, 0.86toz, 8.0 by 2.6 by 1.9cm, together with a white metal novelty box, in the form of a table with cabriole legs, the hinged cover embossed with two cherubs, the side with C scrolls and foliate decoration, 1.66toz, 4.9 by 3.8 by 4.5cm high.
