An Italian or South German, elm, satinwood and ivory marquetry inlaid hunter's chest or settle, late 19th century, the carved crest rail decorated with a coat of arms with cherub supporters, the back with a hunting scene, scrolling arms with hound terminals, the seat and front with similar inlaid panels, centrally with a coat of arms, raised on dolphin scroll feet, 153 by 51 by 154cm high.
