A George III silver lidded tankard, of baluster shape with moulded girdle, the domed lid with pierced thumbpiece, scroll handle with heart pattern terminal engraved 'S' over 'D P', on moulded circular footrim, marked to the lid and base maker I. D possibly for John Dare, London 1770, 23.3toz, 11 by 17 by 19.5cm high, with recent insurance valuation dated March 2016.
