A WWII Cyma stainless steel cased RAF Air Ministry wristwatch, circular silvered dial with black Arabic numerals, black hands and red center seconds hand, serial 8508, the caseback engraved 'A.M. 6B/234 20852/40', Cyma 15 jewels 'Patented' Swiss movement, inside caseback stamped '12322 Dennison Made in England 8508', one lug stamped '8508', dial 25mm, case 30mm, on a 'Staybrite' steel bracelet strap with 'Bonklip' clasp.
Notes: issued to the Air Ministry 6B/234 standard indicating a substitute standard pilot's wristwatch, this standard more often seen as a replacement (repaired and reissued) for an original 6B/159 pilot's/navigator's watch, but this appears to be a direct issue.
