A French porcelain mantel clock, mid 19th century, of Rococo design with a cherub surmount, decorated with a painted landscape panel, a pair of doves, and floral sprays, lined in puce and profuse gilt highlights, the 8.5cm dial centred by a puce floral wreath, surrounded by the chapter ring painted with gilt circles containing the black Roman numerals, indistinguishable signature, 8 day brass barrel movement striking on a coil, printed green anchor mark, with key and pendulum, 23 by 13 by 38cm high.
