In the manner of Emile Aubert Lessore (1805-1876): a small Wedgwood Queensware charger, hand painted in browns en grisaille with a pastoral scene of a woman at a spinning wheel with a swain cajoling her, with cottage and roses to the background and black border, unsigned, with Wedgwood impressed mark ground out verso, 28cm diameter. Provenance: The Private Lincolnshire Estate of a Danish Family.
