A 17th century oak Wainscot chair, with open scroll end arms, later solid seat, single panel back carved with a large diamond surrounded by carved four stars, the shaped top rail carved with a decorative frieze, raised on turned legs and block feet joined by peripheral stretchers, 55 by 54 by 89.5cm high.
