Arthur James Stark RA (British, 1831-1902): a rustic romantic landscape scene, with cattle beside a hedge, sheep in the field beyond, oil on board, 24 by 30cm, in a linen slip and birdseye maple veneer frame, with attribution plaque to the lower moulding, 31 by 38cm. The artist (son of the painter James Stark) was a member of the Norwich School of Painters.
