An Art Deco 18ct gold cased half hunter pocket watch, keyless wind, with black Arabic numerals to outer case, the white enamel dial with black Arabic numerals, gold hands, and subsidiary seconds dial, signed Mappin, case number 95618, 17 jewels Swiss movement, case marked for VWCo (Vertex Watch Company) and GS (Stockwell & Company), import marks for London 1929, cuvette and bow also hallmarked, presentation engraved to inside case 'Bill from Alice, 29th June 1936', case 47mm, 57mm across winder, total weight 63.7g, a/f glass damaged, in blue leather case branded for 'Mappin & Webb Ltd, Oxford Street, London'.
Notes: not in working condition, glass damaged and minute hand caught in the shattered pieces impeding it's movement, winder 'overwound' and hands only offer slight play without causing further damage.
