An Edward VIII 9ct gold cased half hunter pocket watch by J. W. Benson, keyless wind, with black Roman numerals to outer case, white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial, blued steel 'double spade' hands, 15 jewels Swiss movement, dust cover, bow, and loop all stamped, case number 605504, J. W. Benson, London 1936, case 49.5mm, 95.3g gross weight, together with a 9ct gold fob chain, clasps to both ends, 41cm long, 10.7g, in a fitted leather watch case branded for J. W. Benson Ltd.
Notes: in working condition, winds and sets well, keeps time across 1hr test, however Batemans cannot guarantee continued operation.
