A Staffordshire creamware teapot, circa 1765, probably by William Greatbatch, of ovoid form decorated in moulded relief 'fruit basket' pattern and underglazed oxides in green, yellow, purple and blue, above trellis and basketwork sides, the spout with foliate moulded detail, the cover moulded with a square basketwork panel edged with blue scrolls, a/f missing knop, stapled repairs, paper and hand written catalogue label to base, 22 by 12 by 11.5cm high.
