Jean Shepeard (British, 1904-1989): charcoal portrait of the actor Rosemary Harris (b. 1927), unsigned, with a label referencing Frith Banbury who most likely assisted identifying the sitter, 24 by 19cm, mounted, 30.5 by 25.5cm, together with two other signed but unmounted charcoal portraits, Francis Lister (1899-1951) as identified by Rachel Redgrave, with imprint of another sketch verso, 22.5 by 17.5cm, and Robert Eddison (1908-1991), with imprint of another portrait verso, 27.5 by 21.5cm. (3)
Provenance- from Doreen Kern Collection (Artist and Sculptor 1931-2021) niece of Jean Shepeard.
