A vintage yellow metal brooch designed as a dove with wings outstretched, the finely textured body with detailed feathers, with six graduated turquoise set to either wing front and to the tips of the tail feathers, and with cabochon ruby eyes, repair under one wing, 8.3g including repair, 38.8mm long. Provenance: The Estate of Mr Joseph B. Hay, son of Major-General Arthur K. Hay DSO OBE - 100 years of a military family.
