A pair of Italian walnut open armchairs or fauteuils, 19th century, with carved and moulded frames, shield shaped backs with foliate clasped crest, padded arm rests with scroll detail, serpentine fronts, raised on turned and fluted tapering legs with stiff leaf decoration, upholstered in green fabric with golden sheen, 56 by 45 by 93cm high.
