A Boer War cap badge, circa 1890's, cast brass with eagle surmounting a crested cartouche, flanked by six draped flags, over banner with motto 'Eendragt Maakt Magt', unofficially used Zuid Afrikaansche Republiek's Artillery Corps, 5 by 6cm, in a fitted tan leather desk standing case by Spink & Son Ltd, 8.5 by 2 by 9.5cm. Provenance: The Estate of Mr Joseph B. Hay, son of Major-General Arthur K. Hay DSO OBE - 100 years of a military family.
