A George V canteen of silver cutlery, including 75 pieces Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd. London 1925, together with other Silversmiths Co Ltd. London cutlery with other date marks, including a large sauce ladle, 1924, and serving spoon, 1902, six teaspoons, 1921, two small sauce ladles, 1923, sugar tongs, 1917, condiment spoon, 1915, approximately 144toz, as well as 24 Arthur Price ivorine handled butter knives, the oak case canteen with three sections.

An 18ct yellow gold and diamond cased Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso lady's wristwatch, model 267.2.86, the case pave set above and below the dial with four 1.8mm round faceted cut stones and eighteen similar smaller 1.0mm stones, the 'reverse' set with four 1.8mm round faceted cut stones and sixty similar smaller 1.0mm stones, the silvered dial with raised gilt Arabic cardinal numerals and tapered batons, gilt hands, mechanical movement, cabochon cut sapphire to crown, case number '1889965', on a brown leather strap with 18ct gold deployment clasp, case 20.8mm wide by 33.0mm high (including lugs) and 28.5mm high (excluding lugs), 23.2mm across the crown, 13.9mm inside the lugs, 8.5mm thick, dial 13.0 by 16.0mm, 51.9g gross, with box, manual and guarantee. Notes: in working condition, winds and hands set well, keeps time across 1hr test, however Batemans cannot guarantee its continued operation.

Jaroslaw Horecj (Czech, 1886-1983): an Art Deco bronze figure, modelled as a woman in thin dress of typical eastern block Art Deco design, on a large marble base, 65cm high. Notes: Jaroslaw Horecj was a prominent Czech sculptor and decorative artist, recognized as a master of Art Deco. Known for his unique style, often seen as a solitary expression in modern Czech art, Horejc created significant bronze figures, ceramics, and glass works. His career spanned decades, with works produced from the 1910s through the 1940s, including themes like Olympia (1930), Heracles (1925), and Dancer (1909).

Laurence Broderick MRBS FRSA (18 June 1935 – 18 April 2024): An important portfolio of original drawings and photographs for the Bronze Bull located outside the Bullring Birmingham, this 4.5-meter-long, 6-ton bronze sculpture by Laurence Broderick is a well-known city landmark, consisting of fourteen signed A2 sketches each dated July 2001 and numbered, with number 14 entitled "14th drawing and it was the drawing I decided to make", also thirty four photographs of the maquette including one of Laurence Broderick with the drawings behind him and a coloured sketch of the bull in situ. Provenance: from the estate of the late Laurence Broderick's wife Ingrid Christa Broderick. Laurence Broderick FRSA was a British sculptor. His best known work is 'The Bull', a public sculpture erected in 2003 at the Bull Ring, Birmingham. Please note Artist resale rights may apply.

A late 19th century gold and diamond set trembleuse brooch, possibly French, set with over 100 round cut diamonds, 1.5 to 3mm, to a central sprung flowerhead surrounded by further flowerheads and leaves, flowerhead pendant below, approximately 2ct total diamond weight, with hinged pin fastening and safety chain, unmarked but surface tests to above 9ct gold, central flowerhead 22mm, 17 by 54 by 49mm overall, 18.4g.

English School (18th century): portrait of a lady purported to be Lady Bute, unsigned but with label verso 'From the Collection of the Late J. E. Weatherhead, Esq., Ely Lodge, Leicester', 75 by 62.5cm oval, in gilt frame, 95 by 82.5cm. Provenance: the painting has been in the vendor's family since the late 19th century, the painting was bequeathed to an ancestor and was always known as a portrait of Lady Bute.

A Sino-Tibetan gilt bronze Buddha Amitayus, likely 18th century, modelled in seated in dhyanasana, or full lotus position, with downcast eyes and a gently smiling mouth, with both hands held in dhyana mudra, wearing a five pointed crown and various jewellery, with later 'jewels' applied, on a double lotus base, missing base plate, inscribed Chinese character 'da' (meaning big or great) to inside base, 1.15kg, 12.2 by 9.0 by 16.8cm (6.6") high. Provenance: private deceased estate, part of the family's collection for over 70 years, with German ancestry prior to the early 20th century.

William De Morgan (British, 1839-1917): 'Leo', a red lustre charger, circa 1890s, decorated in ruby and salmon lustre with a manned galleon in full sail, with lion figurehead, with the full sun and a flock of birds in the sky above, the underside with leaf border and concentric rings, impressed '24' to base, 5 by 36cm. Notes: see a similar example in the National Trust collection at Wightwick Manor, item NT1287681.

A Pilkington’s Lancastrian vase, circa 1910, decorated with rampant lions amongst tall trees against a blue lustre ground, by Gordon Forsyth, shape number 2619, 16.5cm high. Notes: Gordon Mitchell Forsyth (1879–1952): Painter, stained glass artist and potter, born at Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire. He studied at Gray’s School of Art, Aberdeen, and at the Royal College of Art, completing his studies in 1903. He worked as a designer at Pilkington Tile and Pottery Company as well as serving as Art Director at Stoke-on-Trent School of Art.
