A set of six early 20th century mahogany dining armchairs originally from RMS Franconia, Cunard Line, with pierced slat backs and stylised shell above oval cartouche, the undersides of the seats stamped Franconia 28S Dining Saloon, each 59 by 60 by 96cm high. (6)
These chairs came from the second RMS Franconia (1922-1956), which was used as a troopship in WWII.
